To be honest I’ve never had the chance to hold a Pixelbook, so I can’t really tell.

I consider my Acer R11 as the best IT-related stuff I bought for years. Because I can do pretty much everything I need on it. However it’s not my main workstation, just something that’s always in my backpack, and never runs out of battery.

I don’t really know if it would meet your needs though.
